5 Reasons Why You Should Visit Calamagan
Our adventure to Calamagan didn’t start off easy—our driver was late, we had a flat tire, and there were a few unexpected delays. But the moment we arrived at Calamagan Café and Leisure Farm, all the hassle instantly felt worth it and with our eyes sparkling with what’s in front of us, the only word that we utter was “Woooow”. Here’s why this place deserves a spot on your travel list: Located in Sitio Hanginan, Lirongan, Talakag, Bukidnon, near the boundary of Lantapan and Talakag, this hidden gem offers stunning views of the Kitanglad and Kalatungan mountain ranges. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and a great escape from the usual.
Scenic Mountain View
As soon as you step outside the café, you’ll be greeted by a mountain covered in trees. The top is sometimes wrapped in clouds, and the wind? It’s strong and cool—so fresh you can literally hear it. You’ll also hear the birds chirping, rustling leaves, and even the soft sound of a nearby stream. The whole vibe just feels like nature showing off.
Cozy Café
One of the best parts? The café has big glass windows that give you a perfect view of the outside. You don’t even have to step out to enjoy the scenery. Whether you’re sipping coffee or eating lunch, the calm and cozy atmosphere will make you want to stay longer.
Garden Walks and View Deck
After eating, we explored a bit and found flower gardens, benches, and small stone paths leading to a view deck. We took photos, shot videos, and relaxed on a swing. The View Deck is also a perfect place for your drones to take off and capture that wonderful nature surrounding the café. This place will give you a peaceful little adventure—not just a quick stop for food.
Morning Breeze
If you’re planning to go, visit in the morning! The sky is clearer, the air is colder, and it’s less crowded. Don’t forget to bring a jacket—it can get really chilly, especially with the morning mountain breeze that welcomes you with its enchanting mountain.
Peaceful and Relaxing
Calamagan isn’t just a pretty place—it gives you that rare moment to slow down. No city noise, no distractions. Just fresh air, calming sounds of nature, and beautiful views all around. Whether you're alone or with friends, it’s the kind of place that refreshes your mind.
